Bourbon Coffee

2101 L St. NW, Washington, DC 20037

Monday - Friday 6:30AM - 6:00PM; Saturday 8:30AM - 5:00PM

Bourbon Coffee first began in Kigali, Rwanda in 2007, and has since expanded across Rwanda and the United States. The company was the first retail brand to originate from Africa, and they've been helping their home country ever since. They aim to reshape the global image of Rwanda and its economic development and culture by promoting sustainable practices, economic development, and cultural unity through their coffee.

If you're a coffee lover, you probably know how good that first sip of a morning cappuccino feels as it touches your tongue. What might feel even better than that first jolt of java? Knowing that your coffee purchase is making a difference in the world.

These four DC-area coffee shops will give you the caffeine fix you're after with a healthy side of do-good.
