Capo's has the most-talked about Chicago-style pizza in San Francisco -- and deservedly so! In 2007, owner Tony Gemignani was the first American to win World Champion Pizza Maker at the World Pizza Cup in Naples, Italy. Today he serves up true Chicago favorites on four different types of crust all made with Ceresota Flour from one of the oldest mills in Chicago.

The authenticity does not end there, though. He worked with Neapolitan-born carpenter Ricardo Jacobus, who constructed the restaurant's handcrafted Art Deco-inspired bar, that pumps out amazing handmade cocktails. Next time you're in San Fran make sure to reserve a table at this wildly popular place!

East Coast dwellers will forever stand by the belief that their pizza is superior to West Coast 'za, but the City By The Bay is trying to prove them wrong nevertheless! We've rounded up the best pizza places in San Francisco, proving that Fog City residents really know their stuff when it comes to good eats. Next time you're in town, stop by these locations and give West Coast (pizza) pies a chance!
