New york locals have come to know The Highline as the perfect location for relaxation and an incredible view. This 1.45 mile long elevated park use to be a rail track in the late 1900’s. Today, it is a tranquil oasis with modern lounge areas ideal for tanning, hanging with pals, and enjoying the striking scenery in contrast with New York's skyline. Events often take place here that showcase art, food vendors, poetry, and theater.

What started off as a spin-off of the Brooklyn Flea soley dedicated to food and drink has now flourished into a world-renowned festival of food. Now, Smorgasburg is the premiere "Woodstock" event of gastronomy.
