New york locals have come to know The Highline as the perfect location for relaxation and an incredible view. This 1.45 mile long elevated park use to be a rail track in the late 1900’s. Today, it is a tranquil oasis with modern lounge areas ideal for tanning, hanging with pals, and enjoying the striking scenery in contrast with New York's skyline. Events often take place here that showcase art, food vendors, poetry, and theater.

What started off as a spin-off of the Brooklyn Flea soley dedicated to food and drink has now flourished into a world-renowned festival of food. Now, Smorgasburg is the premiere "Woodstock" event of gastronomy. There are 100+ vendors selling savory dishes, desserts, beverages, and other prepared and packaged foods from your favorite NYC eateries. Whether you’re in the mood for tacos, ramen burgers, or sweet treats, you’re bound to find something to satisfy your cravings.

For all you thrill-seekers, Brooklyn Bridge park recently opened Dumbo Boulders, a hip new rock climbing venue. Whether you are new or experienced you will find a fun and challenging obstacle to push you to your limit. As you’re climbing to the top, keep in mind the gorgeous skyline view as motivation. Day passes are super affordable at only $9.00!

There is so much fun in just about any corner of The Battery Conservancy. Whether you want to take the family for a fun day at the park or lounge around relaxing in the great outdoors. This park has playgrounds, fountains, carousels, incredible views and more! The Battery’s latest installment is the seaglass carousel featuring a vibrant aquatic ride for anyone to enjoy.
