The Bronx Museum of the Arts not only features innovative contemporary art exhibitions, but also uses them as a catalyst for cross-cultural dialogue, connecting a diverse group of visitors to the same urban experience. The museum's permanent collection showcases artists of African, Asian, and Latin American ancestry, which provides a forum for the voices of those who are typically underrepresented in a traditional museum setting. In accordance with its universal mission, the museum now has a free admission policy for all.

When you're planning a trip to New York City, plan on seeing all of the Big Apple, not just Manhattan. We suggest a trip to the Bronx--home of the Bronx Zoo, Arthur Avenue, and Yankee Stadium. This borough offers so much to do and see that you could plan an entire week's vacation around sightseeing in the one-and-only "Boogie Down." Set aside some time to check out five things to do in the Bronx, here!
