The Bronx Music Heritage Center (BMHC), founded by the Women's Housing and Economic Development Corporation (WHEDco), is committed to celebrating, preserving and promoting Bronx music, artists and history through a multitude of programs, including: live music performances, readings, film screenings, educational art programs, art installations and music history trolley tours of the neighborhood. Guided by the BMHC Music Advisory Board -- which includes Grammy winners, music historians, artists and community members -- the BMHC spurs neighborhood revival and provides free cultural programs for the community. When you're planning a trip to New York City, plan on seeing all of the Big Apple, not just Manhattan. We suggest a trip to the Bronx--home of the Bronx Zoo, Arthur Avenue, and Yankee Stadium. This borough offers so much to do and see that you could plan an entire week's vacation around sightseeing in the one-and-only "Boogie Down." Set aside some time to check out five things to do in the Bronx, here!
