Chocolatier Andrea Pedraza brings a little bit of her Mexican heritage into her truffle-making skills, which combines all-natural European chocolate with exotic, seasonal ingredients to yield flavors including dulce de leche, blood orange, and spiced rum. Chef Pedraza runs the business alongside her two daughters, and locals love coming in for a quick chat just as much as they love CocoAndré’s selection of gifts and confections. Don’t miss her popular designer shoe line, as well as her Mexican sugar skulls made from dark, milk, and white chocolate.

Who says you need a special occasion to treat yourself to a piece of delicious chocolate? Every day is a good day to indulge, and Dallas locals are lucky to have some of the best confectionery shops in the country.

Decadent cocoa-rich dessert is something that this Texan city gets right (perhaps because this city is the birthplace of German Chocolate Cake!)

Another fun fact: All of these praise-worthy chocolate shops are owned by women! Feminist indulgence strikes again!
