Flashback Diner does ‘retro’ right, with booth seating, memorabilia artwork and an outdoor patio with white fan-backed chairs. Along with a generous menu filled to the brim with all the classics, you can also choose from a list of sandwiches named after celebrities, such as the “Sloppy Joe Dimaggio” or the “Bruce Lee Teriyaki Chicken Sandwich.” There are 3 locations to choose from, but we’re partial to this one in Hallandale Beach because it is close to the major attraction Gulfstream Park Raceway and Casino.

You can always count on a diner to provide convenience and comfort on a plate. Southern Florida is a Travel Savvy Favorite when it comes to diner-hopping.  Plus, you can eat your whole meal in your most casual get-up of shorts and a concert t-shirt and no one will bat an eyelash! Check these out when you’re traversing the Broward County area.
