Established in 1999, McSwiggans was briefly closed in 2008 after a devastating fire. Owner Aidan Boyle quickly resurrected this beloved local haunt, and today it’s more popular than ever! This jovial sports bar is a short few blocks from the Hoboken PATH station, which makes it super easy for locals to stop in for some drinks, dancing and company. Don’t forget to try their house drink, the original Phoenix Bomb (pictured above)!

If there’s one thing you can expect in Hoboken every St. Paddy’s Day, it’s that you’ll enjoy one heck of a party. Every year, revelers dressed in green hit the streets in this bustling neighborhood and enjoy an annual pub crawl. We think you should add one of these festive spots to your agenda, and keep the party going year-round!
