Between the Wynwood and Midtown neighborhoods lies Enriquetas, a hidden food gem that locals can’t seem to get enough of. From early morning to mid-afternoon, Cuban food lovers flock to this quick service shop for some of the best authentic sandwiches.

Whether you order the traditional Cuban sandwich with ham, roast pork, cheese, and pickle, or their speciality Cuban chicken sandwich, stacked with lettuce, tomato, shoestring potatoes, and grilled onions, you can expect a sandwich that is unbelievably good. The long lines are worth the wait, and after one bite you’ll understand the craze!

Miami has so much to offer: The hot nights, white sand beaches, festive year-round attitude, and of course, delicious food with some Cuban flare. Tasting a Cuban sandwich in Miami is a must, since this deliciously savory menu item is believed to have been born right here in the Sunshine state. At the very least, the Cuban sandwich was a menu mainstay by the 1960s, at the height of the Cuban migration to sunny South Florida.

We’ve tasted plenty of delicious Cubans in Florida, but these are a few of our faves.
