El Palacio De Los Jugoslocated in the Flagami neighborhood, is a very well-known destination for Cuban treats. Set under a tented collection of separate vendor counters, they offer different grab-n-go and made-to-order dishes like tostones, coconut water fresh from the fruit, roasted suckling pig, beans and rice, and more. El Palacio De Los Jugos is a must-go for anyone seeking an authentic eating experience! After you ask the man with the big machete for a fresh-cut coconut, head to the Cuban sandwich counter and prepare to be stuffed. Look out for celebrity chef Bobby Flay, who stops by for his Cuban food fix each time he comes to town.

Miami has so much to offer: The hot nights, white sand beaches, festive year-round attitude, and of course, delicious food with some Cuban flare. Tasting a Cuban sandwich in Miami is a must, since this deliciously savory menu item is believed to have been born right here in the Sunshine state. At the very least, the Cuban sandwich was a menu mainstay by the 1960s, at the height of the Cuban migration to sunny South Florida.

We’ve tasted plenty of delicious Cubans in Florida, but these are a few of our faves.
