Battersea Park

Queenstown Rd

The 200 acres of green space is definitely something to boast about. This elegant park equipped with beautiful shady trees was originated in 1858 by Queen Victoria. With plenty of attractions including the Park Zoo, and art from the Pump House Gallery a day in this city park will simply slip away. While in this district, dine in one of foodie Paolo Pirones favorite eateries San Gennaro, which is located on 22 Battersea Park Road.

Exploring an exciting, historic city like London opens up a seemingly endless list of things to do. Museums, Buckingham Palace, Westminster Abbey... this great city has it all. Another popular activity is to sit in one of London's picturesque parks with the locals and enjoy a lovely day with a picnic basket or a good book. (Don't forget, there are many "green" things to do in South London to take advantage of when you're in the area!)
