One of the most unique museums around, The National Museum of Funeral History offers an educational experience like no other, taking guests through the various funeral service rituals around the world and throughout history. Check out a replica of King Tut's sarcophagus, then marvel at fantasy coffins by Ghanaian sculptor Kane Quaye, shaped into everthing from a crab or chicken to an automobile or rowboat. An exhibition about grand celebrity funerals, and a room dedicated to the Popes throughout history are also popular here.

Houston's diverse pool of museums attracts millions of visitors annually. Whether its funeral services, outerspace or art, Houston offers visitors some of the most interesting museums to explore.
